This is a gallery representing my beloved late wife's artistic works. She was a bright and beautiful star that will forever shine in my life. I put up her work here as a tribute to all of the beauty she brought into the world.
None of these works are for sale or to make money of any kind simply a representation of some of the things she loved.

Castiel as God: Again, another I cannot sell as part of the auction, but for those Supernatural fans out there you probably recognize this. She was really happy on how this one turned out. It was when Castiel took in all of the souls of Purgatory and became all crazy on power and declared himself the new God. He was in a church killing a bad pastor who was hypocritically preaching and when he left one of the panes of stain glass became as him. There is a pretty funny story about Supernatural that I would be happy to share if you are so interested.

Tardis in space: I absolutely cannot sell this one, but I think giving it away is fine. Abby was a big fan of Dr. Who. I used to put it on in the background when I studied in med school. She became a fast fan. Matt Smith was her favorite. No matter which doctor it was (maybe aside from Jodie Whittaker), Abby always said I reminded her of the doctor. The impossible possible. She also said I should never travel too long alone. Apparently she was pretty worried about that according to several people I spoke with after she died.

Lonely tree

Weeping cherry tree blossom: I don't know the history of this one, but it always reminded me of Mae.

Lovebirds Silhouette: I am pretty sure that this one was from her time at a sip and paint. I know it has been in our house for a long time.

Winter Sunset: I am not certain, but I feel like this was one she just painted. It might have been from a sip and paint.

Halloween. Halloween was Abby's favorite holiday. She was putting this one together as a prototype to teach at a Halloween event at a lavender farm.

Moab Night. We spent quite a bit of time in the Southwest. It has a different kind of beauty than other parts of the country, but it is still there. This was not based off of a picture or particular image.

Mystic Tree. This is a really simple picture that is significant because in all the years Abby taught painting, this was her favorite painting to teach. No matter the skill or level of intoxication of the group, it was fun and people liked their paintings.

Through the Eyes of Home. It was her last work before she died. I had brought her art supplies to Omaha during her first 13 months of treatment. This picture was out of the window facing away from Route 3 right outside of Belfast. She was particularly proud of this one as she felt like she caught the sunset contrast perfectly. It was rare for her to feel so content with a work.
